Mary Ruth Oberhausen

Mary Ruth Oberhausen, born on September 24, 1941 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the Bowling Green Nursing and Rehab. She was a cherished member of her community and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Mary was the daughter of Tilda and L.T. Wix, who have preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, James Travis Wix (Mary); her nephew, Michael Wix (Ruthie); and her niece, Sarah Wix Rucker (Rob). Mary also treasured her time with her grand-nieces and nephews: Madeline Wix, Katelyn Wix, Anna Rucker, and Jax Rucker.

A graveside service to honor Mary's life will take place on November 12, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery, located at 1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103. The service will begin at 3:00 PM and conclude at 3:30 PM.
