Mary Ford

Mary Ruth Ford, age 73, of Alvaton, Kentucky died Friday September 7, 2018 at her home. Mary was born July 4, 1945 in Warren County a daughter of the late E. C. Gibbs and Ruby Mae Spry Gibbs. Mary worked on the line for General Motors for over 30 years in both Bowling Green, KY and Springhill TN. Mary Ruth Ford was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years: William ""Billy"" Ford, her son: Barry Ford, her three brothers and one sister: E. C. Gibbs Jr. , George Gibbs, Mildred Charlson, James F Gibbs. Mary Ruth Ford is survived by her son: Robert Ford of Alvaton, four grandchildren: William Ford II of Bowling Green, KY, Courtney Ford of Paducah, KY, Samantha Ford of North Carolina, and Jacob Ford of Paducah, KY. She is also survived by her two great grandchildren: William (Lindsey) Ford III of Scottsville, KY, and Heather Ford of Bowling Green, KY, and her great-great grandson: Julian Ford of Bowling Green, KY. Mary Ruth is also survived by her sister: Helen Lovan of Rineyville, KY, and her two brothers: Larry (Tara) Gibbs of Alvaton, KY and Tommy (Sharon) Gibbs of Franklin, KY along with other relatives and friends. Per her families wishes; there will be no public services. Cremation was chosen. Mary Ruth's arrangements have been entrusted to Cone Funeral Home (270) 904-4201.
