Melinda Gay Smith was born on June 30, 1978, and entered into heaven on March 4, 2024. The Warren County native was the daughter of Danny Clay Smith and Linda Gay Harwood. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Dana Renae Smith.

Melinda was a hard worker and dedicated friend. She enjoyed the simple things in life. Melinda never met a stranger.
Melinda is survived by her partner; Mike Johnson, her sister; Melanie Michelle Smith, aunt; Pat Balance, cousin; Rondii Klokoc and several friends. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home.
There will be a celebration of life March 18, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the Bowling Green Towers Patio (private ceremony).
