Melissa Duncan, 66, of Hartford, passed away Wed, December 10, in Bowling Green, surrounded by her loving family. Melissa was born in June of 1959 in Owensboro, KY to the late Thomas Earl Knight and Ida Mae Mattingly Knight. Melissa will be remembered for her generous and loving heart, and her incredible work ethic. Her family was everything to her and she loved fiercely. She was owner of Twice As Nice Consignment in Hartford and had worked in the printing business next door for over 20 years. She had a heart for animals, especially cats and was a huge supporter of KY Kitty Kats. The ones who knew her and loved her, lovingly called her “the crazy cat lady”. Those left to cherish her memory are Tiffanie (Jason) Quisenberry, Jacob Duncan (Demetra Estes), grandchildren Jakob Quisenberry, Mady Quisenberry and Raegan Duncan; the father of her children, Darrel "Skip" Duncan; sisters Jamie Knight Sexton, Michelle Knight Duncan, brother Thomas Earl Knight Jr, 2 nieces and 6 nephews.
A celebration of life will be held December 21, 2 to 4 pm at the Traveling Table, 209 Midtown Plaza, Beaver Dam.
