Minaxi Harjibhai Pansuria, M.D.

Minaxi Harjibhai Pansuria, M.D., 83, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the age of 83 years, 6 months, and 13 days.

She was born Minaxi Bhalchandra Karnik on January 27, 1943, in Ahmedabad, India, the daughter of Bhalchandra Karnik and Sushila Karnik. She was the first physician in her family.

She married Harjibhai Pansuria, also a physician. The couple trained and began their careers in Ireland before immigrating to the United States, settling first in New York and later in the Philadelphia area. Dr. Pansuria was a family physician and practiced for more than 15 years, primarily in inner-city Philadelphia. The family later moved to Ohio. In the summer of 2011, she and her husband moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he died in December of that year. She remained in Bowling Green for the rest of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bhalchandra and Sushila Karnik; her husband, Harjibhai Pansuria; her brothers, Madhukar Karnik and his wife, Vinaysmita, and Narendra Karnik and his wife, Usha; and her sisters, Shanta Parlikar and her husband, Dattatray, and Malati (Anita) Navsarikar and her husband, Anil.

She is survived by her son, Ashesh Pansuria, and his wife, Neha Pansuria, M.D., of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Alisha, Kareena, and Anik Pansuria; and her brothers, Abhay Karnik and his wife, Ramila, and Ashok Karnik and his wife, Pratima.

Funeral and cremation ceremony will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time at Cone Funeral Home, 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42104. A live stream link will be provided for those unable to attend in person.
