Myron Dale Karr, affectionately known as Mike, passed away on July 2, 2025, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and craftsmanship. Born on August 23, 1946, in Bad Axe, Michigan, Mike enjoyed a life rich with family and passions that brought him joy and fulfillment.

Throughout his 78 years, Mike was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Robyn, with whom he shared 47 remarkable years of marriage. He is survived by a son Jay who lives in Copenhagen, Denmark and Brandon, who lives in Posen, Michigan. Also surviving are grandchildren Michala and Thor, and his great-grandchildren, Riley and Sean. He also held a special connection with, Birgitte, who was like a daughter to him.

Mike's passions were as diverse as they were heartfelt. An ardent supporter of the Detroit Lions, he wore his love for the team with pride, cheering them on through countless seasons. His love for the great outdoors was evident in his avid pursuit of deer hunting, where he found solace in nature's embrace. A talented woodworker, Mike dedicated many hours to crafting intricate small boxes and wooden locks, showcasing his creativity and craftsmanship.

Mike's family ties extended beyond his immediate loved ones. He is also survived by his brother, Roger (Carol), of Pennsylvania, several nieces and nephews, two aunts, and a sister-in-law who will remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Delores Karr, and his brother, Timothy, whose memories will forever remain in the hearts of his family.

Mike’s life was a testament to the joys of family, friendship, and pursuing one's passions. He leaves behind a rich legacy woven into the fabric of those who knew and loved him. His kind spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
