Paula Ann Pursley, age 74, passed away May 8, 2026, in Bowling Green, KY.

Born in Lebanon, Oregon to Donald Jay Hess and Violet Anna Parker, Paula is survived by her sister, Sandra Smith, her children, Sandra Mallory, Christina Larimer, Allen Pursley and Debbie Trujillo, her grandchildren, Austin Doetch, Cassidy Price, LeAnna Schoeberl, Logan Doetch,Cassandra Trujillo, Savannah Trujillo, Bailey Pursley and Anastasia Mallory, and her great-grandchildren, Sean Doetch, Dutch Price,Elliott Price, Isaiah Huntington and Deacon Schoeberl.

Above all else, her family was the center of her world. She was always there for the people she loved, standing beside them through every hardship and every joy. No matter the situation, her family knew she would have their back in every corner of life. The love she gave was fierce, unwavering, and stronger than anything words could fully capture.

She was stubborn in the best ways, strong when others needed strength, and loving beyond measure. She carried her family through difficult times with courage and determination, while also filling their lives with warmth, comfort, and care. She was truly the heart of the family, and the love she poured into those around her will continue to live on forever.

We love you deeply and will carry your love with us always. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing the strength, love, and devotion you gave to your family will never fade. You were the heart of our family, and you always will be.
