Pelly Witcher

Mr. Pelly Wayne Witcher, age 75, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023, at his residence. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements. Pelly was born November 24, 1947, in Bowling Green, KY, to the late Pelly Gordon Witcher and the late Anna Mae Frances Jones. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Holcomb and Pamela Witcher. He is survived by his children, sons, Chris Witcher, Mark Witcher and Bryon Witcher, daughter, Karey Witcher, and his dog Chewy. Pelly was in the Air Force as a mechanic in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. After the military, he worked as bricklayer and a jailer for the county. He lived in Daytona Florida for about 35 years before returning to Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was an Elvis fan and he loved to watch westerns. He called his dog Chewy his most prized possession and loved him so much. Pelly’s wishes were to be cremated. There are currently no services scheduled.
