Robert “Bob” E. Loggins, 78, died November 11, 2021, at his home after a 5-year battle with cancer. Bob was born on September 21, 1943, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Clarence Loggins and Irene Weis Loggins. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Loggins, and his sister, Bonnie Dickerson Loggins. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Veronica Loggins, as well as his nieces, Kathy Cage and Kelly Dye, and his nephews, Jimmy Loggins and Pete Loggins. Bob was a beloved husband and uncle. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a member of the Marine Corps League and very passionate about the work he did for the Toys For Tots program. Bob retired from General Motors Corvette plant after 32 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Bob enjoyed riding his motorcycle and hunting. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. A memorial service with military honors for Robert “Bob” Loggins will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 11 a. m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (553 Ashmoor Avenue, Bowling Green, Ky) with a time of visitation with the family from 10 a. m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests new toy donations be made to Toys For Tots.
