Roger Henson

Mr. Roger Dale Henson, age 61, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Tristar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Roger was born October 7, 1960, in Tompkinsville, KY, to the late Dean and Pauline Henson. Besides his parents Roger was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Tammy Henson. He is survived by his children, Gregory Henson and Amanda Henson, both of Bowling Green, KY. He is also survived by his brothers, Bill Henson of Indianapolis, IN, and Danny Henson of Canton, OH; sister, Judy Henson of Bowling Green, KY, and a host of nieces and nephews. Roger loved doing yard work and being outdoors, especially gardening. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a carpenter for many years. Roger loved his friends and family dearly. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. The family will receive friends and visitors at Cone Funeral Home on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 1:00 PM. The family chose cremation and will hold a private ceremony to place Roger's remains next to his wife in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho, KY.
