Obituary:

In loving memory of Roy Leon Beavers, a man whose kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of all knew him. Born on November 20, 1944, in Dalton, Georgia, Roy's journey on this earth came to a peaceful rest on May 22, 2024, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

Roy was a beacon of light, known for his unwavering love for his family and his dedication sharing the teachings of Jesus with those around him. His presence brought comfort joy to many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

Among those who preceded him in death are his parents, Edsel and Lorraine Beavers, as well as his brother, Gary Beavers. Although they have bid him farewell in this world, their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved Roy.

Roy is survived by his beloved wife Edna Beavers, his children Karen Howard (Alex Howard) and Kevin Beavers, his sister Connie Mull Dalton, and brothers Steve Beavers, Al Beavers, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Spencer, Jamie, Jonathan, Aubrey, Davina, and Riley.

In his leisure time, Roy found solace in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was casting a line at Barren River while fishing or strolling through nature trails each day, he found peace and contentment in these moments.

The legacy Roy leaves behind is one of love, faith, and compassion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him but will forever remain alive in their cherished memories. As we bid farewell to Roy Leon Beavers in body,
we hold onto the memories that will continue to inspire us for years to come.

May he rest in peace knowing that he has left a lasting impact on this world that will never be forgotten.

Farewell dear Roy, until we meet again in the light beyond.
