Roy Edward Bosinger, age 73, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away on June 20, 2026. He was born on September 21, 1952, and lived a life marked by service, laughter, and a deep love for family and country.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Bosinger and Roy Joseph Bosinger; his beloved wife, Patricia Elizabeth Bosinger; and his brother, Kenneth Bosinger.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Bosinger (Cathy); his children, Michael Bosinger (Jodie) and Kristine Bosinger; and his cherished grandchildren, Kaley Miller (David), Andrew Bosinger, Zane Bosinger, and Fisher Lacey.

A proud patriot, Roy served 21 years in the United States Navy, including time as a Blue Angel, a role that reflected both his skill and dedication. His distinguished military career earned him numerous honors, including the National Defense Service Medal with bronze star, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal with three bronze stars, Navy “E” Award, Fifth Good Conduct Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation, and the Navy Achievement Medal.

Outside of his service, Roy embraced life with unmistakable energy. He was an avid sports fan, faithfully cheering on the New Orleans Saints and the New York Yankees. He loved being outdoors, soaking up the sun, and took pride in a freshly detailed car. Music was never far from his heart, especially the timeless sounds of Frankie Valli, which often carried him onto the dance floor. Known as the life of the party, Roy was often the last one dancing, leaving behind laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories.

Roy’s legacy is one of strength, devotion, and a spirit that brought light to every room he entered. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
