Royce Dossey, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on July 30, 1951, in Bowling Green, Royce lived a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Higginbotham Dossey, and his children, Amanda Cherry (Jason) and Kelliee Embry. Royce's legacy will also live on through his grandchildren, Destiny Cox, Brooklyn York, Emily, Ella, and Jaxon Cherry, as well as his great-granddaughter, Briella. Royce shared a special bond with his sister, Lynda Groenendaal (John), who will remember him fondly.

Before his illness, Royce filled his days with joy, often spent in the company of family and friends. He had a deep passion for life's simple pleasures, whether it was riding motorcycles, camping trips with his dear friend Danny Daniel, or enjoying a round of golf alongside his friends Ed, Jimmy, and Roger. Royce cherished his conversations and time spent with his longtime friend Joey Davis, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

A lover of nature and the sea, his ashes will be spread at a later date, allowing him to rest in the beauty he so adored.

Royce's parents, Roy L. Dossey and Thelma Monroe (Wimpee) Dossey, & his sister Cathy Key preceded him in death. Their love and guidance shaped him into the remarkable man he became, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

As we remember Royce Dossey, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life of connection, laughter, and unwavering love. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
