Mr. Russell Earl Williams, Jr. , age 67, of Franklin, KY, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Hopkins Center in Woodburn, KY. Russell was born in Detroit, MI, to the late Russell Earl Williams, Sr. and the late Norma Irene Mason Williams. He is survived by his son, Jesse Williams (Veronica) of Sterling Heights, MI; 2 grandchildren, Sterling and Josie Williams; 2 brothers, Steve Williams (Melissa) of Franklin, KY, and Randy Williams (Cindy) of Franklin, TN; 2 nephews, Colin and Shawn Williams; 1 niece, Lexi Bolt. Russell was a simple man who kept to himself and enjoyed spending time at home. People knew him best as a “collector of many things”. He loved watching American Pickers, western movies and he liked listening to the blues. For most of his working life, Russell was a mechanic and liked working on vehicles. Russell was also an expert at growing high grade medical marijuana for years. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements and cremation was chosen. There will be no services scheduled at this time.
