Sandra Jean Selz Cross Reynolds, lovingly known as “Sandy,” passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on May 17, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Mary Selz and Carl Selz. Sandy spent her life centered around family, carrying a quiet strength and steady presence that those closest to her will always remember.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Wayne Reynolds; her brother, William “Billy” Selz; and two granddaughters, Brittany Selz Johnson and Kaleigh Shelton Selz. She is survived by her brother, Carl Eugene Selz, and her caretaker, Ronnie Cross SR, who, along with many extended family members, will cherish her memory.

Sandy was a devoted mother to Eric Von Selz, Ronnie Dean Cross Jr., and David Lee Cross. Her role as a mother was one she held close to her heart, offering love, guidance, and support throughout their lives. She was also a proud grandmother to Brianna Leonard, Kyle Shelton Selz, Kirstin Harrod, Maddison Ezell, and David A. Cross, each of whom brought her great joy.

Sandy dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a home filled with care, warmth, and love. Whether through everyday moments or lifelong memories, she built a foundation of comfort and togetherness for those around her. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion, her gentle spirit, and the lasting imprint she left on the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
