Sheila James

Mrs. Sheila Faye James, age 67 of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Cone Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be at 11:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Still Cemetery. Sheila was born July 14, 1955, in Bowling Green, KY, to the late David Kawai and the late Mary Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Kawai, Jr. , and her stepsister, Bonnie Sue Bump. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Henry James. She is also survived by her daughter, Tiffany James of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Henry Rami James, Joshua Earl Lagunas James, Arianna Nicole Jacome James; stepdaughter, Katrina Brooks of Bowling Green, KY. Sheila attended Faith Tabernacle and was retired for seven years from Houchens Industries. She looked forward to Sunday drives around town enjoying an ice cream cone with Henry. She loved going camping, playing cards, board games, and watching movies. She loved God and her family and read her bible often. She will forever be known as kind and loving and will be missed dearly. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to help with her funeral expense.
