Sheryl Cross

Mrs. Sheryl Denise Cross, age 57, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY. Sheryl was born August 25, 1964, to the late Sharon Webb and to Ron Schmidili, Sr. , whom survives and resides in Arizona. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Krause; two brothers, toddler, and Ron Schmidili, Jr. , and her grandmother. Sheryl is survived by her loving wife of 5 years, Victoria Potts of Bowling Green, KY; her daughter, Rene Knighten (Bryan Thorn) of Bowling Green, KY, and sons, Lucas Stacey (Dakota Rainwaters) of Bowling Green, KY, and Daniel Tighe of Huntsville, AL; her grandchildren, Samuel and Morgan Knighten, and three others; and her sister-in-law, Melissa Schmidili. Sheryl was a member at Hillview Heights Church and taught Sunday School. She loved serving the Lord and praying for others. Sheryl had a genuine, kindhearted spirit. She loved animals, fishing, singing and dancing. In their down time, Sheryl and Victoria would pack sandwiches and head out to spend the day at the park. Sheryl had a caregiving heart and took care of her family, friends, and her loving partner for nearly ten years. The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. Sheryl’s wishes were to be cremated. There are no scheduled services at this time.
