Shirley Ann Nelson

Shirley Ann Nelson, age 73, passed away on July 3, 2026. She was born on October 2, 1952, to the late Rosemary and Kenneth Bishop, in Niagara Falls, New York.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Fredrick, Richard, and Cecelia.

She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, David John Nelson; her children, Michele, Cathy, Rosemary, Matthew, Kimberly, and Sara; her siblings, Virginia, Rose, and Florence; as well as 15 cherished grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Shirley dedicated many years of her career as an electrical component inspector, where she was known for her strong work ethic and attention to detail. Outside of her career, she embraced life with enthusiasm and creativity. She found great happiness in dog agility, enjoyed the thrill of a good game of bingo, and expressed her craftsmanship through woodworking. Shirley also loved camping, where she created lasting memories surrounded by nature and family.

Above all, Shirley will be remembered for her love of family, her lively spirit, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
