Sophelia Andrea Pike, affectionately known as “So-Fine,” was born on October 31, 1967, to the late Elaine Elizabeth Smith and the late Robert Arvell Love Sr. She departed this life peacefully on August 12, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.


Sophelia was united in marriage to the late James Henry Pike Jr., with whom she shared a life filled with love and memories. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Tori Shawn'Tae Pike, who was a treasured part of her life.She is survived by her loving siblings, Robert Arvelle Love Jr. (“Bobby”), Alicia Williams, Stanley George, Shawn Lewis, Felicia Love, and Carmen Love, along with extended family and dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.

Sophelia was a caring and compassionate person who dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She was a caregiver by profession and found joy in making a difference in the lives of those around her. Outside of her work, she enjoyed painting and sewing, expressing her creativity through the things she made and the beauty she created.She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Elaine Love and Robert Arvelle Love Sr.; her stepmother Cornelia Love; her husband, James Henry Pike Jr.; and her grandparents, Willie Mae Bernard and George Bernard.

Though Sophelia has gained her eternal rest, her loving spirit, creativity, kindness, and the memories she created will continue to live on through her daughter, siblings, family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
