Thomas R Ronek, Jr passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 19, 2026, after battling

cancer for the past several years, in Bowling Green,KY. Born on October 21, 1958 in Janesville,

Wisconsin. Tom married his wife Debra, on September 21,1979. They later moved to

Winter,Wisconsin where they raised their children and had a hobby farm. Tom , along with his

wife and children, did all the home renovations, siding and roofing. Tom worked construction his

whole life and enjoyed building things, including several of the log cabins at Grand Pines resort

in Hayward, Wisconsin. Later, after the children graduated, they all moved to Bowling Green

KY.. Tom was a hard worker and lived by his own phrase...”Not working doesn’t pay the bills”.

He was always ready to help a friend or family in need. He enjoyed the outdoors and traveling,

especially chasing waterfalls. He loved his family and spending time with them, whether on long

hikes or working on vehicles and side projects. Tom loved playing with his children and

grandkids and watching them grow. He was a great man, who was deeply loved by his wife and

family.

Tom is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debra Ronek, his two sons, Thomas Ronek III, Jeremy

Ronek and his daughter Michelle Ronek Simmons; five grandchildren, Peter, Xander, Jace,

Haven and Hope. His sister Rosemary Ronek and brother Gary Ronek, as well as many friends

and extended family members.

Tom is preceded in death by his son Peter Ronek and his parents Tom and Patrica Ronek.

He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
