Timothy Neil Dickerson “Tim” or “Timmy” departed from his earthy body in his hometown of Bowling Green with wife and family by his side.

Timothy was son of his surviving mother, Caroline Lewis, and late father, Ricky D Watkins. He also was preceded in death by his beloved honorary grandfather, Carl Gilbert.

Tim was a devoted Dad, Husband , grandfather, brother and friend. He touched the lives of many—family members, classmates, coworkers, and acquaintances alike—with his kindness and unwavering loyalty.

He is survived by his beloved children, Yukiah and Gracey Dickerson, and three dearly loved step children, Joseph(Courtney) Mathew (Leslee)
and Chelsea Wheatley.
He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Logan, Abigail, Chandler, Kayden, Maddox (Wheatley) and Spencer Yates, all of Bowling Green.

Tim was a brother too two surviving sisters , Jaime Hale (Jo) her two children Jordan and Tyler of Morgantown. Another sister Amy Henderson ( porky) and her 3 children Paige,Jake, Briar all of Bowling green.
A man of faith, Tim was a Christian who identified as non-denominational.
In his youth, he was dedicated to Sunday school and continued attending various places of worship during his adult life.
Tim’s integrity, devotion, and compassion will live on in the countless hearts he touched. Many of his lifelong friendships began in early childhood while out in the yard playing in the dirt, participating in school, sports, attending Sunday school, and spending time at racetrack events and Ect.

He was graduate of ‘class or 1996 of Bowling Green High school.

Tim natural ability to connect with others, paired with his generosity and respect, was an undeniable gift that defined his legacy.
He was known for his quiet acts of kindness—helping others with plumbing issues, yard work, or roadside troubles, supporting youth activities, and even paying for meals for strangers, especially elderly couples, while dining out. These small but meaningful gestures reflected the kind of man he was.

Sports were a lifelong passion for Tim. From playing in his youth, umpiring, and becoming an avid sports fan as an adult, he found great joy in athletics. He especially cherished moments of coaching and supporting his son Yukiah during his younger years. His daughter in her adventures in Soccer and Chelsea in softball.
In more recent years, his greatest pride was cheering on his grandchildren. Tim rarely missed an opportunity to attend their games, tournaments, and events—whether it meant long evenings at the ballfield or traveling for weekend to week-long competitions. He will be fondly remembered by many young athletes for the playful “unique” nicknames he gave them.
Tim looked forward to many more years watching all his grandchildren play the game he eagerly awaited the youngest grandsons Maddox and Spencer, to begin their journey in sports. However, in March of 2025, Tim was diagnosed with advanced stage Cholangiocarcinoma and was given a prognosis of the mby one year. That year proved to be one of strength, perseverance, and deep appreciation for the love and support he received from family, friends, and acquaintances.
Professionally, Tim was a dedicated commercial plumber with Lee Company. A licensed journeyman plumber with an additional certifications. He began his career at the age of 20 and worked tirelessly to perfect his craft. His dedication and skill led him into commercial plumbing, where he took great pride not only in his work but also in mentoring others entering the trade. He genuinely loved his career and found joy in going to work each day.
The love, prayers, and support shown by the community during his final year were deeply humbling and greatly appreciated.
Timothy Neil Dickerson’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and devotion to family and friends will live on in all who knew and loved him.
