I first met Tim when I was about 14 years old. I remember saying then, “I’m going to marry him.” And I did, on July 14, 1992. Life took its turns, and after our divorce, God helped us again to do life together in our own unique way. Over the last 14 years, we built memories, shared love, and cherished the simple joys that made our story special.

Timothy Feldhaus, age 64, passed away on June 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and love that touched everyone who knew him.

Tim had a heart bigger than most. He loved his family dearly, and his friends and neighbors meant the world to him. He found joy in giving without recognition, simply happy to see someone else smile.

Tim had a special love for animals—often saying he loved them more than people, maybe because of their unconditional love. He was always ready to rescue a creature in need. On one of our early dates, driving to the lake, Tim suddenly stopped the truck, jumped out, and carefully carried a box turtle from the middle of the road to safety. That was who Tim was—looking out for others, whether a person or an animal.

Gifted with a knack for fixing almost anything, Tim especially loved working on cars and trucks, and he was proud of the years he spent doing concrete, forklift driving, and other hands-on work. We loved riding around town together, and he’d point to buildings, driveways, and projects he had worked on—quietly proud of the mark he left behind.

Another one of his favorite memories was cooking breakfast for Colonel Harland Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken. The Colonel asked to meet the cook, bragged on Tim’s cooking, and even gave him a tip. Tim never forgot that moment.

In the last few years, Tim found a new love “again” riding his motorcycle. It gave him such peace to be out on the open road, wind in his face, heart unburdened, and spirit free. Riding became more than a hobby; it was a source of joy and calm that carried him through.

Those who knew Tim will remember his giving spirit, his humor, his hardworking hands, his love for animals, and the deep peace he carried while riding his motorcycle.

Tim will be deeply missed, but his love, his stories, and his selfless heart will live on in the lives he touched.

We love you, Tim, and will see you again in Heaven.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
