William Collins Siebold of Bowling Green, Ky. Passed on to the lord on 07-09-2026. He was born on Jan.5, 1042 at St. Ann’s hospital in Columbus, Ohio to William Wade and Kathryn Martin Siebold. Bill was predeceased by his parents, His wife of almost 61 years, Carolyn Klenck Siebold, and son Eric Michael Siebold. He is survived by sons Scott (Vickie), Jeff (Lori), Brian (Jamie) and daughters Erin Jackson, and Jennifer (Becca) Nigbur-Siebold and Grandchildren Ansley Paige Siebold, Tanner Wade Siebold, Sidnee Marie Resha, and Sadie Lynn Nigbur-Siebold.
Bill attended Holy Rosary and Christ the King elementary schools and St. Charles Borromeo high School in Columbus, OH. And graduated from Marist College High School in Atlanta, Ga.. During High School he earned an alternate appointment to the United States Naval Academy from his congressman. Shortly after high School his family was transferred to Lisle, Il with his father’s job where he attended St. Procopius College Now named Benedictine University. During weekends and summers Bill was employed by Swift and Company in Chicago. The family move again in 1961 to Evansville, IN. While attending Evansville College Bill was employed by Old National Bank in the Computer Department. Soon he met and married the love of his life, Carolyn, in May of 1963. He changed jobs in 1967 and moved to Crawfordsville, In. with R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company and after 10 years he moved to Glasgow, Ky with the same company where he was supervisor of the computer department and then to Engineering Technical Specialist. In 1994 a job Changes took him to Huntington, IN, Mt. Vernon, In., Clarksville, TN, and finally to Auburn, Ky. Where he worked for Berry Plastics in Franklin, Ky. He and Carolyn moved to Bowling Green after retiring From Berry Plastics.
Bill and Carolyn attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church where he was active in several ministries, Eucharistic minister at mass and to the sick, RCIA sponsor to new incoming Catholics, and was very active in the Koinonia Parish retreat events for 25 years. He was also active member in the 3rd degree Knights of Columbus for over 56 years and the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus for over 27 years.
Funeral arrangements are being held by Cone Funeral Home where cremation was chosen. His funeral will be Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The mass will be at 12:00 PM.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Special Olympics of Ky., Holy Spirit Building debt retirement Humanity of Bowling Green, Ky, in lieu of flowers.
