Mr. Richard Wayne Lemons, age 62, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.
The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements.
Funeral services for Mr. Lemons are scheduled to be conducted Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Cone Funeral Home with burial to follow in Still Cemetery. The family will receive friends and visitors at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
Richard was born March 20, 1960, in Glasgow, KY to his late parents, Thomas Lemons and Florence Lemons. Richard was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Lemons, Terry Houchens, Randy Lemons, and Danny Lemons.
Richard is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ruth Lemons. He is also survived by his sons, Trinity Gipe (Kimberly) of Cronwell, KY, and James Duncan (Nicole Brannon) of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Aubri Woosley and Malakai Gipe; and one brother, Bobby Houchens (Sandra) of Hopkinsville, KY. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Richard was well known for his handy-man skills. He enjoyed watching all sorts of documentaries on TV. Richard was a good man; a loving husband and he loved his family dearly.
