Ronald Andrew Holland ‘Standing Hawk’ passed away on Sunday March 7th, 2021 at his residence in Woodburn, Kentucky. He was born in Indiana on December 16th, 1946 to the late Warner Andrew Holland and Mildred Gilmore Taylor. He was a retired painter and enjoyed spending time at the Moose Lodge where he was a member. He loved watching westerns, fishing and attending Pow Wows.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Robert Dean Holland, brother David Payne, sister Edith Clark and sister Dorothy Siegert.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roxie Inez Holland; sister Betty Munson; children: Ronald Dean ‘Little Ronnie’ Holland, Doug Holland (Crissie), Brandy Holland, Misti Wilson (JB), bonus children, Patricia Murphy (Gary), Vickie Ahlers (Brett), and Donnie Huff. He was blessed with lots of grandchildren and bonus grandchildren: Ashley Huff (AJ), Katelynn Holland, Destiny Holland (Richard), Curtis Holland, Elijah Holland, Jayce Wilson, Jayden Holland, Nicolas Murphy, Amanda Murphy Kinsler (John), Duran Ladd, great grandchildren, Victoria Kinsler, Penelope Kinsler, Wendolyn Kinsler and lots of nieces and nephews.
The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home (1510 Campbell Lane) with arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Misti Wilson or Inez Holland to help with funeral expenses.
